Default Trying to keep it stock, but...

I've seen this Aquamist HFS-6 from RR. Anybody did this with a pro-tune? Keeping everything else stock, what could I expect? Oh, '09 STi

it depends on what kind of mix you run with the aquamist kit.

I would use the 30/70 windshield washer fluid that patr recommends in the rr thread for the HFS-6 for pre order...

Yes, I will call. But I want/need some background info from people who did it already to give me the push/confidence that it's worth it.

What type of EM are you running? Have you gone stage 2 with your sti yet?

Thinking stage 1 Cobb AP because I want/need to have 2 maps 91 & 93 as up north here you can't buy 93 octane everywhere...

Because I plan on just doing the EM and pro-tune and stop there. Was thinking to get the MAX out of the pro-tune without anything else and the water/meth injection seemed like a way to go...

honestly drvr, I would go with a proper stage II before going meth. Meth is a great tool, but it's not really a power adder. It simply allows you to run more aggressive boost and ignition maps. Even though you're able to run more aggressive, you're missing out on some major initial parts.

If I was in your position, I would take the $2g and get a nice turboback exhaust, a pro tune, and maybe even an APS intake (fun mod). The numbers gained by those mods would put you in a better position for the future.

OK, Stage 2 first... I do love my stage 2 on my '02 WRX. It made the car into the car I really loved to drive... 308,000 KMs on it right now... My '09 STi already has 8,500+ KMs on it and I haven't even made the first payment on it yet. Had 6 KMs on it when I bought it.
