I'd put some light ceramic spray on those bad boys. I used Griots Ceramic Speed Shine on my new wheels and they looked good all winter. Should be able to snag a bottle at your local AutoZone or O'Reilly's.

Hmmmm I've been wondering if I could use something to protect the gold paint finish these wheels are 99% rock chip and curb rash free at the moment. Imma look into it and try it whatever helps.

Pulled out my airbrush paint gun to touch up a few small areas using a .3mm tip and needle. Reduced the base coat 8:6:1 (20ml, 15ml, and 2.5ml base/reducer/hardener) and sprayed at 40 psi. Final cut/buff/wax is next. The paint I am using is single stage so I can repray areas/panels over and over again to keep that paint looking fresh.

The melt off ain't to bad considering we had record snowfall this winter.

Slapped on the golds getting eager to drive her. I need to get a new windshield next then she is ready for the roads.

Thanks guys yeah she is a head turner for sure.

Removed the double din for now because I couldn't get rid of a buzzing noise in the speakers when the deck was on even tried the grounding mod trick but that didn't work. Soo wired audio jack straight to amp for the time being. Radiator fans will now be manual on and off was noticing higher running temps yesterday so I think this will be good enough for now. Might install a stand alone water temp adjustable fan on/off units in the future.

Appreciate it!

Did more wrenching today. Re installed oem radiator fans, installed new 154f racing thermostat, re wired radiator fans --> driver fan manually controlled and passenger fan wired as the primary fan, cleaned the idle air control solenoid which fixed the sporadic idle at stop. Cruised around a few blocks and she's dialed in pretty good now.

Replaced a bad maf sensor this past weekend it helped get this running again. Had lingering issues with the idle and it was the maf all this time. Snapped a few today.

Made an IG account just for the build. Good thing i did can't trust free image hosting sites that much anymore. I guess my build caught the eye of Bucky Lasek which is pretty cool!!
