BTW, if mounted it the heads, the coolant still hasn't cooled the other have of the cylinder bore yet.

I believe it will be a more accurate reading. I'd drill and tap it into the banjo bolt by the turbo on the cylinder head. Where the higher temperature is.

Do you suspect pore flow to certain pockets of the head? If so, I'd look at Dom's cylinder 4 cooling video where he actually tested and logged these temps. |

Well I have and obviously he tested the higher temps in the area. So the sensor would be best in that location obviously!?. |

Hi....the admission for my 4.0 (and different styles) has no water section at the back. The head has a channel at one or the flip side, which permits widespread fit (left/right). However, this permits coolant to be at a "impasse" with no stream, making either a "hot pocket" or a region to trap "gas bubbles".
So I keep thinking about whether this plan over long haul permits additional warmth at the back, and adds to the HG issues around here. I would assume you could penetrate and string a few little line areolas and join tubing to course this over to the coolant container. The valley dish gasket as of now has a huge pattern for each. pcb assembly Last edited by JethTran; 07-23-2021 at 05:07 PM. |
