I was going to order the OEM mats. What's wrong with them?

They don't protect that much of an area. These mats cover the whole floor plus go up the sides alittle bit. Take them out, hose them off and they are clean. No need for even vacuuming the floor in most cases.

It appears they're selling floor liners for the Impreza, not floor mats. Much more depth to handle melting snow, mud, etc.

Sweet! I'll definitly be getting the floor liners before the winter months come. I already have the OEM rubber mats, but they suck for coverage.

YES! Finally! Buy it to help support a good product made here in America and hopefully good sales will convince them to make 2nd row floor liners for us as well!

I personally think the OEM all weather mats are fine. But go with whatever rocks your boat.

OEM mats are OK. I was impessed with the price of $75 (if I recall, for 4 mats). Most OEM mats from other manufactures are 2 to 3x that price. I'll agree they don't cover real well i the far left and under the gas pedal. I'm guessing for Toyota reasons.

My Sport came with the all-weather mats so I have them.

I just ordered the WeatherTech liners- only the front available. Hopefully they make the rear, I'm a big fan of the liners. I might just do the OEM for the cargo area and rear seat protectors though, looks pretty good for the price.

Are the floor liners rubber or a slick plastic material? I know some plastic is pretty slippery on certain shoes.

There are nothing wrong with the OEM All-weather mats. People here are talking about the floor LINERS, they are almost like a shell that goes in. A bit over-kill for normal use IMO. I have the weather-tech floormats in my 08 STI, and I did a side-by-side comparison with the OEM all-weather mats. The OEM actually had deeper channels than the weathertechs. Also, they were half the price.

So when comparing floor mats, keep in mind that weathertech makes all-weather mats and liners.

Here are some pics. They are well worth the money in my opinion. Passenger fit is excellent and drivers side is very good except for around the fuel door release, but it's still great coverage.

Thanks for the pix!! Never had weathertech form liners. What does the material feel like? Is it slippery plastic, grippy rubber, something in between? Does it feel like the soft touch material on the dash or like the plastic on the door or the plastic on the fuel door release? Could you compare it to something in the Impreza interior so we can get a sense of the material.

I would compare it to hard plastic, but I'm not sure exactly what you could compare it to on the car. The closest thing would probably be the door panels. It's not slippery or grippy but something inbetween like you said.

I've had them in cars before and I love them. Put them in my mom's new Elantra and my dad's new Veloster. They may be expensive but they are super easy to clean or shake out and they protect the carpeting.

Thanks much for the pics! These are a must have IMHO if you live in an area that gets sloppy durring the winter months. Much better coverage than OEM.
