Default Ascent with black wheels

Here is my wife’s Ascent with TSW Max 20x8.5 wheels on the stock Falken tires. There were not many out last year with aftermarket wheels to paint a picture. We finally settled on this wheel in a matte black finish.

The offset is +40 on the TSWs. Those should fit and with the stock tire, 20x9 is probably the max width you could go with.

I think I’m going to do 265/45R20 so I can get some Michelin A/S3+. Should I stick w 20 x 8.5 +40 or 20x9 +45? Most people on the are going for the all terrain look so hard to figure out what will work. I’d also like to slightly lower it an inch or so...

Would look mean with some chrome deletes.

Get some black vinyl going on the accents!

I would probably go with the wider wheel if you at going with a wider tire. The 245 stock tires on the stock width rim were hanging over which I didn't like but that's common with factory wheel/tire set ups. The 8.5 width wheel I choose really helped that out.

Is the 8.5 +40 poking in the front? Hard to tell but I’d like to go wider because wheel designs are a little nicer but I don’t want to have it poking out. The rear seems to have a lot more room to go wider.

Yes they stick out a tad but not too bad. I saw RallyArmor has released their mudflaps. The fronts are good but the rears are not that pleasing to the eye. Mudflaps would help out tremendously for keeping this vehicle cleaner and I am trying to see if anything else comes out. The OEM ones are a joke and waste of money.

Yeah, I wasn’t too keen on the cream myself, but I guess you can’t get it any other way, so I’m getting used to it. I like the wheel tire combo you have going on.

Premium Auto Styling makes some vinyl overlays for them, and whole bunch of other chrome “delete” pieces.
