Well, I could always trade in my suby and such, but the AWD is waaay too useful in WI.

There's no reason they wouldn't let you...

1. It's not that expensive
2. It's not that fast

Uhm... they ALWAYS pull the cars through to take indoor pictures for online ads... the indoor lighting hides paint flaws better than sunlight...

My father in law sold his to my brother in law. They are fun to drive. It has less than 70k on it. With the add ground effects. I got a speeding warning in Waterton Park AB with that car. But now my Sti will out launch and handle it, but untill I reflash my ecu and do a few things to let it run over 155, that will take it on the top. Fun car.

Its only $12k. Almost any 19 year old could get a loan for that. I vote yes.

Oh yah... see, I'm an ******* and have no intention of purchasing a 'new' vehicle this year. I just want to check it out for future reference. This dealer is 5 mins from me (the closest 944 I've found).

Those cars are complete junk, be prepaired to replace a headgasket.

my friend in HS had an '89 951 (944 turbo), cost him like $13,000 but this was 4 years ago. Great car.

Just go and ask to drive it, im sure its just sitting there. Not many people (besides car guys) know that its even a Porsche, looks nothing like a 911 (which sucked for my friend since girls had no idea he had a Porsche hahahhah).

My dad drove his until it had 300,000 miles on it. Engine was still fine, it was the transaxel that crapped out.

I''m glad to hear that.
It's still a poorly designed car, I new quite a few guys that had pulles the motors and dropped small blocks because the parts were simply too expensive for the quality.

I'll take that back, there not that bad overall, but again for the price of parts, it's just not worth it. There's so many other cars for $12k that would give you more performance, reliabilty and value. And I would be very leary about buying one of those from a dealer.

Here's an RS that I would haggle down

bob, you talk about head gaskets and then recommend a 98 Impreza RS? Those are far more notorious for blowing head gaskets.
