1 Owner Adult Owned VF39 STI TMIC COBB AP2 Cobb Catted DP R/T Tuning Custom Pro Tune by Andy Brahy 310 whp 344 wtq 18.5 PSI Boost COBB EBC Kart Boy Short Throw Shift Kit and Bushings OZ Prodrive P1s w/ Anthracite Powdercoat Pioneer AVH-X3600 Head Unit w/ Touch Screen, Hands Free BT, DVD Player, etc. Subaru Subwoofer under passenger seat Hella Supertones Possibly, the cleanest Hawkeye you will find. This car is nearly mint. I have owned since new and maintained it religiously including oil changes every 3k miles with Rotella T6 5W-40 & OEM Filters and always parked it in the remote corners of every parking lot so the car does not have a single door ding. Mileage is very low for the year. This a Limited trim level so it has all the options from Heated Leather to Moonroof to Driving Lights and Climate Control. Tasteful mods for performance and reliability. The leather is in excellent condition with no tears or scratches. The only wear being a few wrinkles on the bolster of the driver’s seat. The passenger seat was only occupied a few times and the rear seats were never used. Non-smoker so the inside is clean and fresh. Everything on the car works perfectly. Car has never been in an accident or had a mechanical issue. Dyno Chart included in photos and, because all dynos differ, I have included a dyno chart for reference of a 2012 STI that was in for a tune on this dyno at about the same time (and measured 258 hp stock). ]

Wonderfully clean. good job! I have a few questions though, how long have you been running at those HP/TQ level's? My experience with a few 2.5 motors have been ringland failure within 6 months of stage2+ tunes and those power levels on stock blocks.

I'd have to check my records for precise mileage when I upgraded the turbo and got the tune but I believe it was @ 60k as I waited until after the factory warranty expired.
FWIW - car was my commuter; never tracked, or even driven hard. I'm > 50 YO and don't like punishing machinery. I just like having cool stuff. I ran the AP2 OTS map only briefly as I wanted the reassurance of a custom dyno tune specific to my vehicle. No oil consumption whatsoever between changes. Thanks for your interest. |

Following up on the question from Q2, I checked and the tune was done in July 2012, right after the turbo upgrade.
I'd say the parts and tune have proven reliable. Last edited by HMushman; 09-27-2020 at 07:22 PM. |
