AVO Turbo kit for 2.5 for sale locally
I had this kit on my car for about 8 months, I am selling it because I am doing an entire drivetrain swap from a wrecked STi. You can check out the kit at rallitek.com or spomotorsports.com. Some things extra that I'm selling with it that don't usually come with it are an a-pillar boost guage and the hand controller for the link piggyback ecu that lets you tune it. This is supposed to be plug and play but it runs rich at this altitude, the car was fast and fun, but it needed to be tuned a bit. I was gonna have modern/cobb tune it for me until I ran into a good deal on a wrecked STi. It was definitely faster than a stock WRX and still maintained all the nice low end torque that the 2.5s are known for.
I'm asking $3200 for the kit with the extras, which cost me $400. I'd love to sell this thing locally so I don't have to ship it I'll also have an exedy clutch and flywheel for sale when my car is done in a few weeks. Please post here or PM me with any questions. Brood

I'll take it
$2.00, and could you include shipping to Logan?
Hehe, Scott, what's up, it's Brett, I'm stoked your doing that crazy swap, you punk. We never got a chance to race and now I'll be chasing your bumper all over the place. I'll see ya sometime soon, if my car ever gets done! Peace out |

The kit
I'm not knocking the kit at all, it's the only kit I would buy, period. I've seen what it can do, it rocks. Scott made the best choice of kits. Someone must buy it, he's asking a crazy low price for it.

Thanks for the input on the kit guys.
About the STi, it's not a cheap or easy swap, it's much more intense than an ej20 swap because of the transmission and diffs, not to mention the totally different wiring harness on the new EJ257, I'll leave it at that. But can we please keep this thread on topic? |
