Default NC: 2015 WRX, 6MT, cloth seats, WRB, only 79 miles on odometer, as-new!

Hi Guys,
My company (Essex Parts Services, a sponsor here) purchased this car a couple of months ago to measure for a brake upgrade (we are AP Racing's North American distributor). That entailed pulling the OEM front brake pads, discs, and calipers off. That's about it. Otherwise it has sat in our enclosed warehouse since we bought it. It's absolutely mint. I don't think anyone has even sat in any of the seats other than the driver's seat, and my boss and myself are the only two who drove it.

The dealership had one minor package installed on it:
Center Armrest
Wheel lock kit
Cargo Tray
Auto Dim Mirror/Homelink
STI shift knob.

Sticker price was $27,928.

We are offering it at $26,900. Buying from us will substantially reduce the tax you'd pay on a new one from the dealer, which in most states would be a couple grand. The best part is, you won't have to wait...get it now!

Please email me or call seven zero four, 824-6030. The car is located in Charlotte, NC.

how would buying from you save on tax???

you pay tax when you title it, regardless whether you buy it from dealer or a guy on the street

When you buy a brand new car from a dealership in North Carolina you pay roughly 7.25% tax. On a $27k car, that's approximately $2,000. When you buy a used car from a private party, you only pay the North Carolina highway use tax when you register the car, which is only 3%, or about $800. You can see details on the NCDOT page. That means you save about $1200 on taxes.

Must be nice down there. You'll still pay the full sales tax in almost any other state once you title it there.
