Default Wrx p0519 iacv

Hey all, my 05 Wrx (ej205) threw a cel p0519 and could use some suggestions.
Everything was fine friday, then i started it saturday and instantly idled funny and high. I let the car warm up then took it for a test drive. Below about 5mph, in first or reverse, the car sputtered, but drove perfectly fine once going above 5mph. After about 5 minutes of driving, cel came on, checked it with my accessport, p0519 idle control system malfunction, cleared ecu and same thing happened.
I took the iacv valve off, cleaned it and put it back on with new oem gasket. Same problem. Does this mean i need to replace the iacv valve? Or do i need to keep driving it? Could it be a gummed up throttle body? Idle screw adjustment? Tps sensor? Something else?

Please help, i dont want to start just replacing parts ***128514;

Well today i cleared the code again because i hate seeing the light on, and the car no longer studders or hesitates in drive or reverse, and the cel hasnt come back on, but it still idles high in park or neutral.
Any ideas aside from just replace the iacv valve and pray?

maybe look to see if your purge control valve on the fuel line just under the intake right by the alternator. i am rebuilding mine and honestly mines was doing the same when my purge valve was disconnected. yours could be damaged? just a thought. i know the fuel system is pretty complex but not impossible to figure out. on the stock hood about the middle of the drivers side should be a diagram of that system im talking about. i may not be a subie guru but im a tech so a little helpful maybe.

Purge valve is still hooked up, no vacuum leaks i can find without a smoke machine.

I guess ill order a new iacv valve, since im not sure if tps sensor or anything else could possibly cause this?

Cleaned it again eith gasoline, still drives great, no more stumbling, hesitation or trying to stall, but still idles high in park and neutral.
Anything else that could cause this?
Could tps sensor do this or park neutral safety switch while throwing a iacv cel instead of tps or park/neutral cel?

What is "high idle" RPM you're seeing? Automatics will usually rev a wee higher in P/N vs. in gear. If just a few hundred RPM difference, I don't think you have a problem.

Disclaimer: I don't own an autotragic WRX, but just see this with other auto trans vehicles I own.

Idle around 1800 rpm in P and N, used to idle at like 800 rpm in p and n before this happened.
Cleaning iacv valve seemed to fix the hunting idle/hesitation/stumbling and no more cel, but still idle higher than before...

Default Mutual problem

I'm having this same issue, minus the change in code. Did you ever get this resolved?
