I've been a bit out of the loop for a few years on guns/ammo. Anyone have recommendations on where I can see what the going rates for different calibers of ammo are? I might get rid of some of my extra since I rarely go shooting anymore.

Ordered a Monster Vault (Original) a couple weeks ago and got it installed today. Had to raise the bed to get it under there and gonna lower it just enough to be able to open the drawer but keep it "stuck" in place. Overall, great product and heavy as hell. Only complaint, a lit keypad would be nice.
Bonus lever action (Model 94AE in .444)... Last edited by ExecNav; 05-13-2021 at 07:28 PM. |

Screw it, I had a lead on a couple of vp9's at decent prices....butttt after taking the m&p I bought few weeks ago to the range, and having a ton of fun running like 500 rounds through it, I decided to take that money and I'm going to do a pistol build. I just ordered a stripped lower and parts kit from psa, and now I'm trying to decide if I should go with something like an 11.5" BCM or maybe something in a shorter variety. This will just be a plinking gun, so I'm not too concerned with range, I'll also most likely go with a a 1-6x24 optic on my rifle, so I'll throw the red dot I currently have on this pistol.
Edit: I will most likely just be ordering a built upper, after seeing how finicky getting pistol gas systems to run properly, I don't wanna deal with that, I've built a lower before and it's pretty easy, just ended up selling it before I ever finished it back during the obama-gun craze in like 2012, but I don't think I have the skillset yet to start messing around building uppers just yet. I’d love to see chronograph data on .308 out of an 11.5” barrel. |

I was looking up .308 pistol builds as well and saw that Springfield has a .308 Saint Victor in pistol form. This gives me a funny feeling in my pants. Buds has them for $1700. I'm just trying to decide if the arguing with my wife is worth it after the amount of money I've spent on ammo in the last month. |

At that short of a barrel, it's pointless IMO. 10.5" is the best compromise for 5.56 ballistics, and still can shoot accurately out several hundred meters if you happen to shoulder a brace.

And arguably a 11.5" .308 is still pretty damn accurate. Add a can to get back some velocity and it'll do work out to 400 yards. |

Any recommendations for a laser engraver that can get down to .003 in aluminum? This would be for marking AR lowers.

I bought my Weatherby sa08 last week. This was my first experience with rifles, my first experience with a gun was with a Glock. I really love this gun; I have always used it in video games. I watched a lot of videos about rifles, pistols, and bullets before I bought it. I read good information about the main parts of the shot and pistol and the compression of the cartridges at https://bulkmunitions.com/is-a-bullp...he-investment/. I think it's important to know all these basics before you start using a gun. I am now planning on buying a Remington 700 for hunting with friends, and I highly recommend the bullpup rifle. It is awesome!

Mostly finished a 300blk "other" build. Shoots nice, just need an optic and for more ammo to sow up.
