Default OEM spring supplier for 02 2.5rs

Hey ya'll,

I'm trying to return my car to stock, after being on these terrible tein s-tech springs for 10 years. I want to race in my regional AutoX in the street category which doesn't allow upgraded springs.

Lo-and-behold, finding springs for such an old car is pretty hard, so I was thinking of just buying them directly from a supplier if that's possible. Do you know who supplied the OEM springs for the '02 2.5rs sedan, mt?

Dealer should still be able to get those.

Yeah, that's my last resort. Hard to pay ~$300 for springs when used ones could be had for like $100

I'm in the same boat, trying to refresh an '02 WRX wagon for track days at High Plains in Denver. Our roads are terrible here so don't want to lower the vehicle, just replace the worn out springs and struts. Probably just going with KYB GR2's but cannot find springs that are not lowering springs. Gotta be something better than stockers from the dealer. I'll let you know what I find, please do the same OP.

Update - I've been able to piece together what I need, luckily. I checked local junkyard inventories and there was a 2.5rs sedan locally, so I went and got the two rear springs, plus what I hope is one front spring. It was a single loose spring in the trunk, so no true way of telling it's from this car but I bought it anyway on a gamble. Who leaves just one spring? haha

I ordered the last front spring from a dealer for ~$80, so when that arrives I'll compare it to the mystery spring I bought and hopefully they match

Springsboy,I've found quite a few wrx wagon spring sets on facebook marketplace in my local area, give that a try if you haven't already.
