Default injector questions (denso)

Hi guys sorry if this post is broken up, i am also fairly noob in my opinion.

i recently got a p303 code with rough idle-

We were thinking injector 3 was shot, but after checking injectors and seals- found out the spark plug cable went bad (Ohms check with multimeter verified this)

So my question/s today are about "coding injectors" because I've never heard about this before,( i have what looks like oem denso yellows) oem spark plug wires.

Also, do people just get oem or NGK spark plug wires- I've been looking for 2 days online now for reviews and the dealer wants 80$ for the lot of them. Responses include the NGK's are short possibly? NGK RC-FX101 is what i got off the ngk website.

Thanks for your time as always.

I have a 1993 WRX (JDM) On the factory wiring diagram the ECU pin-outs for the injectors are labeled #1 B44 13, #2 B44 12, #3 B44 11, #4 B44 26. Does #1 #2 #3 #4 refer to Firing order or cylinder number. I believe that these numbers for the coils refer to firing order. Thanks, Cameron
