But can the idiot holding the club play it all day long
I was pleasantly surprised that even though I haven't swung a club since Nov, and my right calf was injured (again...yay scar tissue) my swing speeds were decent. Just under 100mph for the hybrid, just over 100 for the 3 wood, and 105-ish for the driver. Once I get swinging more I'll probably settle into around 107 for the driver, and possibly even more if I can keep working out/running.
Oh yeah, so I was hitting my driver and seeing I was launching it way too high (17' launch angle w/ an attack angle of 4'+). I have had my driver set at 10' (Callaway Epic Sub Zero w/ 2 different size weights front & back) and the heavier weight in the back. I went on ahead and dropped my driver way down to 8' and flipped the heavier weight to the front. It did a little bit in terms of lowering my launch angle (but only like by a degree or so), but it was going a bit further. I'll see how that shakes out. Obviously most of that is the way I swing, but I'm sure the club/shaft do contribute a little bit.
Very much looking forward to clean my palette of the CBS Pebble Beach broadcast with the Genesis/Riviera broadcast starting on Thu...unfortunately it's still CBS, but it won't be nearly as awful as last week, and Tiger is back. Trying to figure out if I wanna pony up the cash for a PGA Tour Live membership this year or not...I was hoping that by holding out a little bit, that they'd send me a discount code...not the case
