Default SOLD: OH: 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero 5spd

Original owner. Getting ready to move on to my next car. It still runs great. I'm a little apprehensive about selling it. Bought it when my oldest was 4 and youngest was 6 months old. Now one is in college and the other is in high school. Those darn Subaru commercials are spot on.

*Edit. It runs and drives great. Unfortunately, the rear strut towers aren't looking so good, along with a couple of other spots on the under body. A picture of the passenger strut tower is below. The driver side rear tower has a softball sized hole.

Made in Japan by Subaru. This is a Subaru Impreza WRX Wagon with some tweaks by Saab engineers. You can read about it more here on Car and Driver: here.

So need to see underhood images and images of the rear strut towers with the upholstery removed as they rust on cars in the Midwest and salt states. Thanks

Will do.

Do you want the pictures as is or with a bit of the surfaces scuffed to check corrosion depth?

I didn't get a chance to run the carpet cleaner on the seats this past year, but they get really clean. No tears. I've never had any luck getting the stain in the hatch out, but it looks way worse in the picture than it does with the naked eye.

So to see the part of the shock towers just to be clear, the rear seats and upholstery need to be removed. No longer interested so no need to do for my request.

Love the car, exactly what i'm looking for in a DD since I wrecked my 13' WRX and need a car to get to work while I save up for a 15'+ WRX/STi or 11'-16' Mustang 5.0, but the mileage is hard for me to get past. I'm sure someone else will scoop this bad boy up in heartbeat though.

I apologize for not updating the post sooner. I wanted to teach my daughter how to drive it before selling it, which we finally did a couple of weeks ago. Well, she loves it now, so we decided to hold onto it a bit longer.

I pulled back the upholstery on the passenger side. It's no wonder the question about the strut towers was asked. I started scraping away the inner thin layer of metal when I felt a hole. I figured 'Oh crap, that's bad.' But as I started feeling around, I realized that it seems to be perfectly round. There's literally a factory hole in the wheel well wall. It seems like an odd choice. The good news is the outer wall is still really solid.

That's the weak point in the wagons. Luckily it can be fixed, but it does require some work.
