Default going to be like driving for the first time!

alright, so i lost my license back in God knows when... i will be getting it back next Wednesday (Jan5). im trying to figure out what im going to do for the day (driving all day) since i havent driven in forever.

i want to know what other people did for the day after they got their licenses back, to get an idea of what i might like to do...besides driving around the city i live in in circles...

i know people are goign to flame this thread, and/or me for losing my license, and asking this dumb question...so if youre going to, whatever i cant stop you...just please give me some insightful information on things i can do with my car next Wed...

You should probably focus on not screwing up again rather than trying to plan some crazy thing to do.

Park your car in your driveway. Look at it for a long time before doing anything. Don't make the same mistakes again.

this....

The last thing you want is to get into an accident (whether your fault or not....stuff happens) cruising around for the sake of cruising around and screw yourself any more than you already have.

Just a few suggestions/questions.

1. How do you "like" drive? You either drive, or you don't.
2. So the first day you get your license back, you plan on driving all day? For some reason I just have a hunch you're going to lose it again that same day, but maybe that's just me.
3. How do you lose a NH license, they give you like 100 chances!
4. Why are you looking for advice on what to do when you get your license back from people who also lost their license?

alright, so ill rephrase what i want... i just want ideas on things i can do...no, im not going to lose it again, like i said i cant afford to. and i lost if because i got a ticked when i was under 20.

in NH anyone who gets a ticked under 20 gets an automatic suspension, unless you go up to Concord with a lawyer and actually fight it, or it was some bull sh** ticket. instances like that.

think of it this way, i lost my license at 16 for "having too many people in the car"....even though i had 2 people in the car which held 5 total. and i lost my license a few months back for going 15 over...

Just drive all day? Eh, sounds like a waste of money to me. If you want to make a trip, go on up to mountain or something you're interested in. Did ya seriously have to make a thread to ask others where you should take your car?

I have a NH license too. I actually know what I am talking about as well.

1. You cannot have more than 1 unrelated passenger in the vehicle while you drive within the first 6 months of acquiring you license UNLESS there is a licensed responsible adult over the age of 25 in the vehicle as well.

2. The under 20 law as you call it applies on your second violation. You will only lose your license originally for 20 days (unless you appeal) for the first violation. THEN 45 days on the next offence, and finally 90 days, after that I am unsure of how long you lose it for.

So good job, you not only got 1 ticket, but at least 4.

sorry to hear you lost your license.

I know your itching to get out there but your first day back probably isn't the best time to be looking to go have fun driving all day. That is just asking for something bad to happen. I love driving as much as the next guy but you will do plenty of driving now that you have you license again. Go fill up your tank, visit a friend maybe stop at the grocery store on your way home.

i know that sounds boring but you'll be happy just to get out and be behind the wheel

Get mad drunk and challenge a cop to a race then throw a bottle of half empty booze at his car as you take off.
