You need to offload the Raptor right now as it is a seller's market. You just need a pick up replacement for now (cough Honda!) until the cybertruck comes out. The Cybertruck is exactly what you'll need to check every box. You'll have to debate dual vs tri motor and the expense. It'll be a big marketing bonanza "Made in Texas" and the huckster will probably have a "Texas edition".

In a few years though, we're planning on ditching the outback for a city-going EV. 200 mile range. 4 doors. My fingers are crossed that there are better options out there than Tesla when the time comes... Hoping for something fun - crosses fingers for id.3R. |

Cramped? I'm 6'2" and it's damn roomy in there but I'm not hooked on Lazy-Boy seats in the full size trucks. I understand that if you are used to those. One of my friends has a current model full size GM pickup with all the trimmings. Yeah, I get that part of it. For me, I just couldn't trade the handling and torque vectoring AWD system of the Honda for a BOF land yacht. Each to their own. My truck won't tow over 5k pounds with authority like a full size will either but it sure handles way better when pushed into a turn or high rate of speed in general. It tows my bikes and my pwc, and a will a future jet boat, just fine. The great thing with trucks is you have no shortage of models out there to choose from. From that perspective it's a buyer's market. Dump the Raptor and get a 3.5 EB! I'm sure you can flog a stealer on that switch. The 3.5 is pretty damn quick, I drove it and the 2.7 just prior to buying the Honduh. |

^^ My buddy just picked up a 4dr F350 Lariat with the new 7.3L engine. Holey crap , talk about a land yacht! You nearly need a stepladder just to get in the seat. Don't even get me started on what it cost.
Pre, what kind of jet boat? I have been bombing around in my Sea-Doo for tubing and wakeboarding purposes with my son. but have been getting the itch to step up again to a boat. The Axopar's have caught my eye but the boat market has taken off this year and there's little stock. I find it hard to believe the Ridgeline handles well just looking at it. The tires look undersized. |

The F150 is just more convenient in terms of size for me. Needed, somewhat. Want, yes. I'm looking at trading the raptor in on a low mileage 2017 Platinum. It has the 3.5lt ecoboost which honestly, I prefer the 2.7lt. I will likely end up in a F150 EV whenever those come out. The new center console work station is money and would make my life a hell of a lot easier as i'm often pulling over to create quotes or look up a customers order history for them. |

Yeah, I didn’t ask him what he spent. I looked them up later but I figure it was at least 66k. He usually is a guy who waits to get a deal but his last truck was 18 years old and falling apart around him so he couldn’t wait . Combine that with the fact that he was wanting to get out of diesel and get that new 7.3 l and I’m not sure how much off he got. I suspect that the Covid helped him a bit, he did say that the Ford dealers were hounding him surprisingly to make a sale.

Ford's gas engines seem kinda weak suace. GMC has the 6.2l making just less than 10hp and 10tq. I heard the 7.3l engine and it sounds kinda odd. |

I should probably admit that the 7.3l in the Ford is severely under tuned for longevity of the engine with heavy use / towing. I think a basic 93 octane gets 80hp gain, 87 octane is 50.

Picking up our Model Y Long Range AWD this afternoon.
Model 3 is being sold to Carvana. I would buy another Model 3 in the future! |

Now is the time to sell a car. It's a total sellers market. The used dealers whether local or national, are paying a few k more than the car's value just to have product to sell in inventory.

Yep, Carvana offered me $6k less than I paid for my 2018 F150 with 42K miles.
