05 - 09 Outback turbo manual transmission **no longer needed**
Update: for time and money reasons, I decided to put the TSK3 kit on my original transmission.
Howdy folks. Well the thing that’s wrong with my clutch turns out to be the snout of the transmission is trashed. One of those PDM TSK3 kits might save it, but it would be iffy. Best solution that doesn’t break the bank would be finding a decent used transmission. Anybody got one, or any good leads? I don’t seem to be tons of these things around, and rebuilt or new is too much money... Thanks, Doug

Hey Doug
You can always try www.car-part.com, we use them a lot at the dealership to track down parts at salvage yards. We also have had good luck on the TSK3 kits, we stock them at Subaru Surprise, and also Subaru Chandler |

Thanks kos! there is actually a place in Canada on that car-part.com that may have one for a really good price. Waiting to find out if shipping kills the deal. Any opinions on that TKS3 kit on a mangled snout (~1/3 to 1/2 gone)? That's my cheapest fastest and easiest repair if it isn't just throwing money away. My car only gets driven a few thousand miles a year if that plays into it...
