There was no announcement that the grandfathered accounts had HBO access to begin with, so that's kind of a lousy trial if you didn't know it started.
All the announcements I saw were from random spots on the internet. That's the ****ty thing. There were like a half dozen different scenarios depending on the type of TV or streaming or cell phone service you had.

Like you said, it was NEVER announced as a trial to begin with. Just that x,y, or z services were getting it.

Raised by Wolves - not for everyone but if you like this hella sci-fi like I do, it might leave you a little bit disturbed. The acting is solid, the main actress kills it. Build ups are slow, but the results work well. Has a creepy thriller/horror vibe to it as well. FNin necros...

Watching episode one. NPR review kind of ruined it for me yesterday morning though.

yeah that sux. I purposely avoid everything except the IMDB/RT/Google rating - when i think its gonna be a bomb anyways and don't want to waste time.

So, I have HBO via comcast. Apparently I was able to lower my AT&T mobile bill by $20/mo by replacing my plan..they throw in hbo max for free. Not sure if I should cancel Comcast, or what. I don't really stream hbo on anything.

HBO is offering the $11.99 per month deal for 12 months again. New subs only. Not sure if just for YouTube TV people or not. Saw the offer on my account.

Watched the first episode last night, I'm in.

Also watched the available episodes of The Vow (about the NXIVM cult) a few nights earlier, I was sold early in the first episode. That's some weird stuff.

Definitely interesting. We caught two of the first three episodes, waiting for the mood to strike for the third. Though I can’t imagine how much further there is to go considering everything that’s already gone down.

Entire South Park and Friends as well. Didn't know about the Adult Swim stuff, nice. I forgot how hilarious the first season of SP was.

That's quite the voice Mom has.

Also, if anyone is interested, the first episode of Raised by Wolves is on regular Youtube.

Watched episode 3 of Raised by Wolves. That story is so crazy, but they are doing a great job telling it. It’s completely shifted my perspectives on the main characters several times, keeping me guessing about who the “heroes” are, if any. Very weird, very compelling.

So I finally finished ep 1 if Raised by Wolves and it kinda ended exactly how I thought it would.

Q: Hey Google, how many humans are required for a viable genetic pool?

A: 50/500 rule

Their mission was never about starting a colony.

Pretty show. Stupid plot.

2 episodes in with Raised By Wolves. Liking it. Mother is scary.

Question: What was the war? Atheists vs Religious, or Humans vs Androids?

Mithraic vs atheists. The OP killing machines called Necromancers (like Mother) fought for the Mithraic. Pretty sure it's all in ep. 3.

Ah. Ok. And the "Ragnar" down on the planet is the atheist, right?

Yes, but now he's pretending to be Mithraic. And mother was captured by the atheists during the war and reprogrammed to raised the kids as atheists.

Just watched #3. Almost have it all in my head now, lol. So, an atheist leader sent Mother and Father to the planet?

I thought it was cool to learn the mouse isn't real.
