![]() 5 new 3rd party TPMS sensors from Les Schwab was under $300 installed for the Land Cruiser about 2 months ago. (5th being for the full size spare.) Given that the build date of the vehicle and thus the latest bound for the TPMS sensors themselves was late 2006, iirc, I didn't complain.

![]() I have a 2012. The stock wheels definitely have sensors as they have the metal valve stems. New wheels have rubber stems but still no TPMS light? Doesn't make sense.
Wheels I got are from a car one generation newer. That's all I know? The internet says the Accord went to an ABS based system in 2013. So what gives? That suggests I should have an error light. |

$2 that's $5 to ship? Keep it and here's your refund. Heavy/large $200 item that arrived damaged? Send me photos and here's your refund. We really don't need you to send back a cracked stepping stone. |

![]() I don't recall if I posted or not but day after Halloween I saw a dude driving a red 308...wearing a Hawaiian shirt, proper hat and sporting a nice mustache. Unfortunately he was going the other way so no photo.

![]() Feeling nostalgic, I recently rediscovered the joys of playing old-school Doom and Doom II using GZDoom under Windows. Running it couldn't have been easier and the results were great.

The first Android phone back in 2008 had a small trackball and a physical keyboard. Someone crafty ported it over and I spent hours playing again...especially when I was traveling. Loved it. Of course then some attorneys got it yanked. You were able to still get it for a while, but I think it eventually went away. Someone else made a port of that one and I think actually may have licensed it and made it a paid app. As I recall, it wasn't as good though. Aliens mod of Doom II...ah, good times. |

![]() I’m a process engineer moving to reliability in pharma, to set the stage. Any breakdown needs attention immediately because each batch is worth mucho $$$$. While today’s work was very ****ty, a major breakdown occurred and a string of lucky chances happened that has potentially put us on the right track. The biggest one however, was that this was a giant exhaust fan. It was in the back corner of the roof, and couldn’t be taken on a cart over the roof because the beams are 8’ apart. Walking out to the parking lot to meet a tech, and what happens? There’s a f****** giant boom crane In the parking lot! Happened to be here for another project and was pausing for the day, we were able to get them to get this motor down for us. Since it was here for something else we only had to pay the hourly fee. What are the odds??

![]() I'm switching jobs in a few weeks and already got a raise
![]() The company annouced today that they are increasing their "minimum wage" and anyone making over that will automatically get a $1.25 pay increase. It's not much but $2500 annually is still $2500! |
