That's actually not too bad of a deal....the monitor goes for ~ 300 retail, 250 if you catch a deal. Not the best monitor, but not the worse either.
I might have to talk to the wife tonight..... |

As before, the onboard GPU is no good for gaming, and neither of the two options are especially powerful either. If gaming's not a requirement, it's quite the deal.

Well, I like to play WOW, and am currently using an AGP slot nVidia 6800 I think..., so it would be a welcome improvement.

But yes, the GPU is going to cost you some $$$ for a decent current model. Even the 8600 is out of date now. |

WoW would ran great with that card. I run wow with my crappy old GForce 6600 GT and it's perfect even in heavy PVP. Newer games -- not so much. |

for a home office users, or just non-gaming folks in general - this is a fairly decent machine, with a big monitor, and the right amount of ram for vista. Most systems in stores at this price range are hampered down with not only basic onboard graphics like this, but they also get 1GB or less of ram.
If you want to do anything graphical on it, option up for the 256MB video card, but even with that on this system - expect just basic lower resolution gaming (i.e. ~ 1024 resolution). . |

Elves can't use axes, dumbass. They use daggers, short swords, dirks, bo-staffs, throwing knives, bows, and if they spend enough points on tactical prowess, crossbows and small shields.
