That's kinda my point. This game leans heavily in just solving everything with violence. I don't even have the options to use tech to hack my way in to get what I need, no option to use charm to talk my way out of situations or talk to convince someone to give me what I want, no options to buy it if I have the eddies, etc, etc.

I really only see sneaking as the only other option and sneaking sucks so bad I get frustrated and just kill everyone instead.

depending on how much room there is, you can also steal a truck from militech and just run over all the baddies.

a motorcycle can get into some hard to reach places, but requires a bit more accuracy to kill the baddies, also if you're not careful, going up stairs too fast on a MC will launch you into a different part of the city.

One of the biggest chuckles I have in the game is running down Millitech personnel that are just hanging out at random parts in the badlands.

I just wrapped up Johnny's quest line. That was pretty cool. I've still got a bunch of gigs and side jobs scattered around (and the last of the boxing matches), but I think I'm down to Kerry's quests as far as "main line" side quests are concerned before I start in on the point of no return quest.

I've got to say, I've genuinely enjoyed ever moment I've spent with this game. Can't say I've ever found any aspect of it boring. Honestly, I'm a little bummed that I'm close to finishing it.

I don't know how I've not gotten at a minimum the complete all gigs, hustles, police items in Watson. There is literally nothing on my screen on my first play through but something is hiding.

I got sucked away by two things - one is Snowrunner, the other is I don’t like playing when my kids are watching. It affects my choices and I don’t like that.

I enjoyed Snowrunner, which I was surprised by, but after a while I got fed up with the same thing over and over. I think I got to the final map on the first area, unlocked 1 or 2 Alaska portions and unlocked 1 Russian portion before I quit playing.

save before you go in, you can roll back if you want.

I think there are a few different options for endings, Rogue, Judy, Avocados. maybe they are just different end sequences, I've only gone through the final ending with the avocado ending, but went back to finish up all the others, and will run through each, just to see how they are different.

after you finish the credits, you get the option to go back into the city and continue missions.

Storytelling is one thing but what about the rest of us that have already been communicated to that he's a dick....are we to suffer for the remainder of that decision? I can't stand anymore dialoge from Keanu because it's just a waste of time.

Exposition,....commentary, elaboration, I don't care! If I we're V, I would put a bullet in my mouth because I can't stand the guy and I am not given the narritve to "RPG" to tell him to "**** off!!!%

XSX/PS5 patch in the second half of the year and looking at their chart, looks to be towards the end of the year.

At least I can start a second playthrough then and enough time still have passed for it to feel fresh again.

With how long it took to develop, they might as well have waited another year to release. Nobody would have really cared, let's be honest.

Exactly. They pushed it back several times already, they should have just pushed it back to Q4 2021 and not bothered with last gen.

I'm enjoying it regardless, but the last gen version in 60fps isn't blasting my nips off. It looks fine, but I hoped the update would be no later than Q2.

So they just thought everyone was going to be cool with this running like ass XBONE/PS4 for almost a year before the next generation drop?

Something also tells me that "Free DLCs" dropping in May is ambitious on their part

theoretically, as developer time frees up, even before the initial release they could be working on DLC.

it's not like every developer can work on fixing the same bug.

the analogy of getting 9 women pregnant doesn't mean you get 1 baby in 1 month. so the same is true in the development world, 10 people trying to fix the same bug doesn't mean the bug is fixed 10x faster, it just means you're wasting resources.

so as a group of developers finished working on their modules, 8 of the 10 people in that group can focus on new content, and the other 2 are bug fix for things in that module.

I'm aware but I would bet good money that ratio is the exact opposite right now at CDPR.

There still seems to be enough issues to keep 8 out of every 10 employees chasing bugs
