![]() List of Mods:
APS SR55 Turbo DR725 FMIC CAI Blitz SBC-ID Worx Tuning BOV I have checked all of the hoses for the intercooler. No cracks or breaks in the couplings. I can adjust the boost down but nothing doing past 19PSI ( I was pushing 23). Is there anything else I should check?

![]() you used to be able to run 23 and then all of a sudden you couldn't go past 19? That sounds wierd, can you explain this further?

![]() Doing a 4 gear pull on a strip. I got up to 4600RPM at 15.7 PSI. At that time, I heard a small pop like a intercooler hose poped off. I decelerated and got it home with limited boost (under 5 PSI max). I checked all of my hoses (I used C-clamps on all of my intercooler hoses). I checked my BOV.. it was a little dry so I reoiled it and slid it back in. Checked my hoses going to and from the BOV. Got it back out and noted that I was only getting 19 PSI max.

![]() Figured out what the issue was. On the Worx BOV, the top portion was slightly warped. Prob due to the cold air on the inside of the BOV and hot air outside from the engine compartment. The warping caused PSI on top of the piston was out of balance with the bottom. The air leaked along the side in the gap between the piston and the piston bore and out the holes to the atmosphere. The spring was the only thing holding the boost. I am going to see if I can get a replacment or mod my stock one. TBC...

![]() nah...Still doesn't solve the issue of the air leaking...just a stop-gap around the real issue. Might look into the APS BOV or another WORX altogether....
