That sounds great, I'd like to know, if you don't mind, the cost on those UEL headers, good luck with all that

I don't think you need the up-pipe.

The EJ255 headers are cheaper than the EJ253 (impreza RS/2.5i) specific headers. They come with the Up-pipe attached he is going chop that off and weld on a flange to mate it to the mid-pipe.

To the OP be aware that these WRX one piece header UP combo may not clear the passenger side frame rail fully. The collector area may not clear easily but the header will fit on the engine just fine. You can get this WRX header for cheaper:

So, as of now there are no UEL headers that just bolt on to the 08+ 2.5i? I was thinking about those replica Borla's on eBay. Or even the ones you just posted. I wonder how reliable they could be for only $50.

The UEL bolt right up to the block. GE-OTTO posted the header i do not have. all im looking at is off the collector is a 3" 90* mandrel bend staying close to the header which will go to my factory cat pipe. Other than that i will put an o2 bung for my rear o2 sensor in the collector. The rear o2 reads cylinders 2,3,4. the front o2 has a bung already for cylinder 1.
