Default MAPerformance 22 WRX Exhaust

Hey guys, as some of you may we recently took delivery of our 2022 WRX and have been hard at work on developing parts for it. So far, we have a one-off built muffler delete and are thoroughly impressed with the sound of the new platform.

With that said, we're at a point in our engineering phase where we'd like to enlist the help of the community for our product design. Initially, our plan was to stick with a similar design of a muffler delete and a full 3" catback exhaust. However, on the previous generation, we had a lot of interest in a modular muffler delete with the optional connection of a mid pipe to create a full catback system. The issue going this route is that the stock size 2.5" flanges would have to be retained and it would be slightly quiter.

Internally, we are fans of a full 3" system to allow for maximum flow and the sound design it allows for, however, we're making parts for you guys and would love to hear your input!

TLDR: Would you prefer a full 3" catback exhaust or a modular muffler delete/midpipe combo with 2.5" flanges?

If your still asking.. Personally, I would prefer a full 3 inch with V bands, no muffler, no resonator, 4 inch tips. Basically what ETS is providing but with better tip options at a reasonable price point and If possible, a connection to delete the secondary cat.
