Would've been a better story if it was on the tmic, I think there's a thread about what people have caught in their hood scoops, and IIRC someone got an owl once.

We found a bat stuck to the Radiator of my parents jetta in Fairbanks.

Shortly after I got my STI up to Alaska, I let seascooby borrow it for his first date with this girl. Anyways, maybe an hour or two after he drove off with it, I got a phone call: "DUDE! I just sucked up a bird into the intake!" I guess he was coming upon the bird or something, wanted to scare it, so he downshifted to make engine noise and the bird just fell into the scoop!

I have three brand new Rally armor mudflaps because a fox decided he wanted to end his life by stepping in front of car while I was moving at a high rate of speed. So I had to buy a new set to replace one. This was near Destruction Bay

edit, this was years ago.

Changed some of the settings for the BRZ including removing the annoying seat belt chime and changed the key setting so when I approach the car it unlocks both doors not just the driver's side door. Also reduced the auto light brightness. Love the options on this thing!

All the different options available to customize:

Also washed it... Again. >_>

Why would you want to remove the seat belt chime?

Because it's annoying when you unbuckle your seat belt when the engine is still running. It still has the flashing light on the dash... Just no sound.

The RS doesn't have one. I'm so used to driving that car any sound coming from the dash is annoying. I don't even like the noise it makes when I unlock/lock the doors or open the door with the car still running or when it beeps at me when the lights are still on. I'm going to mess around with those settings later to remove as much beeping as the car will let me.

^^Yeah, that is a nice feature to have. I hope to see future models incorporate that technology into the brand.

What type of bike is that in the background? Didn't know your father rode.

What are your plans with the 2008 WRX now***8230;or are you keeping all three vehicles while you live at your parent's home?

If I bought a NEW car, I would set up a color matched camp chair next to it, and stare at it too. Maybe cook some grub on the grill, and then go back to staring at the car.

Psh. Whatever. Just reminds me to avoid you whenever you have had a whiskey bottle within range. I did enjoy the drunken description of my WRX "She has a super built badass 08 WRX.. and this car..the BRZ is like the best handling car everrrr". You called an 08 badass

If you intend on grabbing girls in the future while intoxicated, get pointers from Clint...Clint is way better at the drunken ass-smacking than you.

I thought there was only one category of drunken ass smacking lol. New day in age I guess.

Good grief.

After all of mommy and daddy's $$$ that has been sunk in to that heap, it should be bad ass.

Don't make more of it than it was missy, it was just a playful tap, not a grab.

Happily married for 14 years here to a stone cold fox.

I was in full control, just a bit less inhibited and feeling chummy.

AS horrible an experience as it was for you, why'd you still have to smoke a cigarette afterwards!

Oh Mike.. We all know your wife is hawt. I've even said so myself in past conversations. I definitely didn't take it any other way other than you just being drunk with lower than normal inhibitions. I think you read way too far into my response..

I found the WRX comment amusing mostly because everyone hates on the 2008...so it's against the norm to hear something like that even if they're intoxicated.

Regardless... I think the car needs to prove itself at the track before anyone could call it badass. No one other than Kyle and Chano have seen it in a somewhat completed state.. The new motor only has 2 miles on it.

And yes... My parents have helped with my WRX and I don't mind the help. I also don't mind the help that I've received from Dale putting this project together. And I don't think that makes me a bad person.

The 2008 WRX is basically the Tuner Ready of the 3G Impreza world.

Oh yeah, I got a new windshield. That means I no longer have the tint eyebrow.

Dr. ColorChip should be in this Friday according to the USPS tracking info.

Swapped a stock sized intake on my wrx and flashed the stock maf scale. Finally success! Runs a LOT better... Dale and I went and did some break in pulls and nearly maxed out the maf sensor in second gear at 12psi (maf was reading 268 g/s)

Dorothy is going to be one crazy bitch after everything is dialed in and we add meth.
