Default Anyone deal with the VA DMV lately through the mail?

Has anyone had to do any DMV transactions through the mail lately? I'm going on three weeks without a title, registration or plates for my wife's lease-buyout car and I don't know what I should be expecting during COVID. VA DMV's site said something like typical turnaround is like 15 days but I don't know if that still the case. Not knowing what the status is is frustrating as hell.

Update:

After nearly 30 attempts over a seven hour period today, I finally got into the DMV's call queue this afternoon and actually talked to someone after a short wait. Long story short, turnaround time for mailed-in transactions is 4-6 weeks, and only after six weeks will they investigate an issue and only if you have tracking information with proof of delivery. So at least that's something.

Received new plates and registration in the mail today. Five week turnaround. FYI.

I submitted for renewal on one vehicle in September, and registered for an appointment in November to register a trailer and a new car. By the time my appointment rolled around, I still hadn't received anything- I asked at the counter, and like it was no big deal, the lady printed the registration and gave me new stickers....
