Lightbulb invidia dp for (sti)

i just thought i let you guy's know that the invidia downpipe is not a dirrect bolt on for the 04(sti).

i went yesterday to nino's with my friend who has the 04 sti
to get the pipe install and a couple of other things, well it turns out that we get a call from the place where he got the pipe telling him that he had to cut the first flange (the one that mounts to tranni) in order for it to fit,we related the message to Dan at nino's just as he was abou to tell us the same, so he cut it complety off after a few push and pulls it when in like it should
after everything got bolted in another issue merge a leak in between the stock catback and the downpipe ,2 gasket fix that issue.

just thought i help,it would be helpfull to do the same!!!!!!!

I had the same problem on the top DP mount. I just hacked mine off and it bolted up fine. I guess there was a bad batch of DP's with this problem. There are other people not having the same mount problem.

I would recommend you stop buying very cheap Taiwanese downpipes and try something a little higher quality. I have bolted on 3 of my Godspeed downpipes onto STi's with no problems at all. The Turbo XS ones also work perfectly. That so called RSR stuff is aweful quality. THe real RSR Japan stuff is super nice but is a completely different company.
