Got my studless blizzaks tires mounted the other day. Thinking of painting the rims black.

No please don't paint the wheels black. It makes cars look heavy. Silver, matte gray/bronze, gold, or gun metal.

Found a twin online ye you right I may just leave them. The color scheme reminds me of FnF part 1 days lol but it's growing on me. I have a set of golds for summer

Update from wrenching past few weeks.

New clutch, refreshed all vacuum lines and high pressure rubber fuel hoses, 8:1 rrfpr Vortech unit regulator, re-installed intercooler tubing to fit better, DIY recirculation BOV hose to intake tube, custom radiator mounts bottom and top, refresh engine harness and plugs, regapped NGK spark plugs, timing belt and pulleys, new head gaskets,, torqued head studs to wrx turbo spec, and new water pump.

Next will be to finish exhaust piping from DP to midpipe. Bought new TD04 turbo core to refresh that too. This setup will be comparable to a stock wrx but much lighter. Wastegate 10psi max.

Thanks man. I'm finally rounding the bases back to home plate with this project.

Here's a temporary DIY mod I did to a stock WRX exhaust is add an Electronic Exhaust Cutout haha. Drive quietly through my neighborhood then open her up when brapping around town or back roads.

Think they'll notice?

Moar weekend pics. Finished welding exhaust pipe from down pipe to mid pipe, fuel pump swap pics Walbro 255, temp DIY accessory belt cover with old LP (might paint black in the near future), and began finalizing electrical wiring to double din stereo, power and ground supply to all 3 gouges (A/F, Boost, and EGT).

Thumbs up

Thanks man yeah lots of late nights for sure.

Made more progress.

Upgraded radiator fans and was able to keep factory fan shroud housing.

Rewired radiator fans so passenger side kicks on first --> Bucky Lasek figured that by doing this it keeps engine Temps much cooler. Wanna see how the previous owner did it?? Lol

And installed air/fuel sensor.

Forgot to add these:

Interior is pretty much buttoned up except for my amp/speaker install. Will tackle in near future (400 watt 4 channel amp powering two 6x9 250 watt speakers, and a 10" kicker bass speaker for the trunk)

I am using a generic Amazon black colored seat covers, picked up the most rugged floor mats i found on Amazon these Motor Trend mats, two generic arm rest units, wiring is finished for gauges, rear seat storage, and new black paint on cowling and wiper arms.

ELectronic Exhaust Cutout controller tucked near driver seat.
