Vikings had almost twice as many episodes they covered too much ground. Once Floki and Ragnar were no longer the driving force it lost too much of its charm as well. Last Kingdom is a good example of less is more unless you have a GoT budget.

My only problem with Last Kingdom (and this is something that every medieval ... or however you describe this period ... suffers from) is that armies/characters who have access to a horse or their feet seem to cross giant masses of land in days. While armies seem to appear from across the country so many times. Journeys that would take months seem to take less than a week. Ulthred has been all over the UK and seems to have not aged at all. Heh

Regardless ... I love the show. It’s got me through many elliptical machine workouts even when I didn’t feel like it.

Mitchell’s vs the machines was a pretty good family movie.

Watching an entire season of the army on the same boat trip on their way to a battle would make for boring television. They don't need to show a minute for minute shot of traveling.

I get that ... but they go from battle to battle to battle multiple times per season. Hah

Loved Shadow and Bone! Can't wait for the next season(s). I read the Crow books (dealing with Kaz and his crew and Nina), but not the one dealing with Alina and the fold. I do like how they managed to merge the two together, but I wonder why they did that to begin with?

My biggest beef is that it needs about 2 more episodes to flesh out the characters better - because there's a quite a lot of them, and quite a lot of **** is happening. Alina falling for the general and discarding Mal was the most blatant by-product of the rushedness IMHO.

The casting for the Crow crew is *really* good. It took a coupla episode for me to warm up to Kaz, but Inej and Jesper actress/actor were fantastic.

I enjoyed Shadow and Bone also. Jesper was great. His character is very fun to watch. And Inej, mmmm...

There were some simple things I would question but chose to ignore like why didn't they travel the Fold with an armored ship like the Crows?

Overall it was good. Will watch the next season.

Is it me or did we all miss that another 4 episodes of "The Toys we love" came out?

I was bouncing around Netflix and saw I hadn't seen the TMNT, WrestleMania and Power Rangers episodes.

Yup, they were awesome

I tried to like it. I watched each episode. But it just wasn’t done well and some acting wasn’t good. Could’ve been told slightly better as well

I'll get back on Irregulars in a bit - I've stopped at eps 3, but heard it gets better later on in the series. :cross-fingers:

I thought Tribes of Europa was also from the guys who did Dark, and it wasn't that good?

Anybody who sneezed on the set of Dark labeled themselves a "Dark Creator" to get shows at Netflix.

Still doesn't belong in the YT thread, so I am posting it here again. Do yourself a favor and watch Cop Show on YouTube from Colin Quinn. It's genius. Thank me later.

This was surprisingly good, a lot better than I would have expected for a Netflix movie.
