Meanwhile, latest research on Alzheimers shows that air pollution specifically the fine particulate does pass into the brain and is likely one of the main mechanisms of Alzheimers.

Even dogs brains in the worst polluted parts of Mexico city show early signs of Alzheimers. Heck even children show it!

I live next to a guy who's a dumb **** roofer and he's taken all emissions off his dually diesel. Every day he idles for 5-10 minutes then leaves and of course drives so he hears his exhaust. Of course he's a renter. I wish there was something I could do but it's just another case of the least intelligent consuming higher percentages of resources, polluting predominantly more and ruining things for others.

I live in a older grid street residential area.. except that my particular street just happens to extend beyond the neighborhood and terminate at a T intersection directly across the main street from a yacht construction company. I swear, half the employees there own diesel 1-1.5 ton trucks. Getting onto the main road that would bypass my neighborhood would mean taking a left out of their parking lot.. so they take 2 rights instead and take my street to get out of town. When the shift change happens at 8PM, there's a ****ing parade of these morons blaaaating by my house. It seems like they're definitely speeding as well... but I haven't bothered to actually go out and confirm that.

Anyway, the yacht company shut down last month for COVID-19 and laid them all off. It's been great.

Feds filed suit against EZ Lynk for tuning devices that violated emissions rules.

Feds waited while the company grew and had a pile of cash, then pounced and filed in Fed Court.

Sounds like they asked for customer records as well, and are considering daily fines for people using the device on-road.

I've witnessed that a couple of times in the wild against EVs.

Both times the moron in the pickup was blocking the left lane with tons of traffic piling up behind it.

People were getting angrier by the second that these idiots were holding up traffic for the explicit purpose of being a jackass at everyone else's expense.

late reply, but check your local city ordinances (or state), there might be something that makes it against the law to let a vehicle idle for an extended period of time, then call the cops, post to their twitter feed, whatever to get them to come give the guy a citation.

if there isn't a law, then petition the local government to put one in place.

I am completely out of the loop on this sub genre of vehicle customization and I'm ok with that
NC has introduced a bill that would make this modification a ticketable offense that will result in the revocation of the vehicle's registration if not corrected within a set timetable.

I just spent $1k getting the SCR/DEF system and NOx sensors repaired and functional on my duramax Colorado. I did it gladly, though id rather have not had any repairs to do at all, even though everybody on the colo forums offered up deleting the system as the "best solution". Only actual repair ive had to do to this thing in 138k miles since buying it new.
I absolutely despise the coal rollers more than any other vehicle enthusiast group. Friggin pointless, selfish, and stupid. Seems like the only reason they do it is to mess with people and be a nuisance.

I ****ing hope so. We don't have that problem out here, but I've seen plenty of pics and videos of those idiots driving around. I don't even know how they see in front of them.

Pricey potential repairs is one of the main reasons I got rid of my Duramax ZR2. I loved how that truck drove, especially after the ADP emissions intact tune. I think if I were to get another, it would be the gasser.

A rapid way to solve this is let the air out of the front tyres - should lower the front by the equivalent length (2-3") of the owner's penis easily.
