It's just so stupid that we went from ZOMG WOLVES ARE NEARLY EXTINCT LET'S TEH SAVE THEM just 25 years ago to 'oh **** it worked too well let's kill nearly all of them', when in fact it should be looked at as a triumph of conservation.
I think this is getting overplayed a bit. 90% would bring the population down to the endangered level.

Hunting harvest rates on gray wolves are generally very low. In 2019, more than 45,000 wolf tags were sold in Idaho, and hunters harvested 188 wolves - a success rate of 0.4 percent.
If there's 1,500 in the entire state, you're going to have trouble finding one in the first place.

Edit: I don't think this should be happening at all, but it's not an extinction event.

It may be getting overplayed but, the endangered window isn't where nature belongs.

Living fences, predator proof fences and guard animals are just a few ways to protect livestock and the smaller the grazing area the easier and less expensive the protection will be. Livestock fences only keep livestock in. They were never intended to be able to keep anything out.
In North Dakota, ranchers imported Turkish and Russian sheepdogs to guard herds against wolves.

Those things do not mess around. They will kill wolves, but usually leave them alone unless they get too close to the animals that the dogs are guarding.

That said, what scares me is the day that The Great American Imbecile discovers the Caucasian Sheepdog. If you think a poorly bred and poorly trained pitbull will make your peenor bigger, imagine the things that a 200 pound pitbull can do for your willie.

I highlighted the parts that make no ****ing sense. Either the bar for being endangered is set too high, or humans are shortsighted garbage. My money's on #2.

Allow me to introduce to you the Presa Canario, the Pit Bull's better tempered 170 lb cousin from outta town.

Big dumb sweeties that are very, very protective of their property.

The pregnancy of Halima Cisse, 25, has fascinated the West African nation and attracted the attention of its leaders. When doctors in March said Cisse needed specialist care, authorities flew her to Morocco, where she gave birth.

"The newborns (five girls and four boys) and the mother are all doing well," Mali's health minister, Fanta Siby, said in a statement.

Cisse was expected to give birth to seven babies, according to ultrasounds conducted in Morocco and Mali that missed two of the siblings. All were delivered by caesarean section.

Nonuplets are extremely rare. Medical complications in multiple births of this kind often mean that some of the babies do not reach full term.

"Ft. Jackson Army trainee in custody after hijacking school bus full of kids"

He couldn't handle basic training, so he decided to commit multiple felonies because that will make his life much easier.

https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreak...deserted_fort/

the video makes it even funnier(sad depending how you look at it) when he tries to threaten the bus driver with essentially a paper weight.

It's not fair to judge US persons by Honey Boo Boo's actions. Not totally unfair but not totally fair.
