Default Unknown Connector

I recently purchased an 07 JDM STI(I'm in the Caribbean) and I'm going through the interior wiring to clean it up.

I found a single wire connector by the driver's side (right hand side) kick panel unplugged. I have no clue what it's for or why it was disconnected.

Please see the below pics. Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

That's the test mode connector.

If you want to try it, connect it, then turn the key to the "on" position. The car will cycle many relays and circuits to test things
, including the radiator fans.

It might look horribly wrong at first while it's doing this, but it's completely normal. It's a basic diagnostic tool.

When finished, turn the key off, and unplug it. Everything will be back to normal.

Thanks mate. Was worried it was something critical.
