Default 2013 STI swap in 08 outback xt flash options

So long story short I spun a bearing in my 08 obxt I came across a whole complete 2013 sti long block with turbo intake harness everything for $400. Which also has a spun bearing. So that’s the route I’m planing to go. I already have a tactrix 2.0 cable and Ecu flash and romraider. My questions are

I know the 13 is dual avcs I was planning on converting to my ej255 factory cams. There is no way I can run dual avcs with my factory 08 obxt ecu is there? If I wire the correct pins?

Also for now I am going to be using the automatic trans that’s in my car till I can afford a 6 speed swap. Is that going to affect the tune or base map?

Are there any maps around that anyone knows of for a sti swap in an obxt?

I just want to make sure before I am committed to this that this is something that I’m going to be able to find a basemap for so I can run the car before I get a real tune

I would put your heads and intake back on the fixed shortblock, then you don't need to delete the exhaust avcs or change the wiring harness. The sti intake, throttle valve and engine harness are different then the xt, so you couldn't just plug it into your car.

There isn't really much difference from a xt 255 and 257 sti motor, mainly bolt on parts like turbo, tune and intercooler. The sti only gained 5hp when they went from single to dual avcs so it's probably not worth swapping an sti esu and wiring harness to get the dual avcs working. And the sti ecu probably wouldn't work with the auto transmission computer since they never made an automatic sti.

What I would do is skip the sti motor, rebuild your shortblock and add a bigger turbo if you want more power.
