Briss I hope no offense is taken but the "testosto hounds" of the SCIC saw HotImprezaChick and about blew a load. Just want to let you know that it's nothing personal against you.

Val tell her I said hi and that I may swing to LA/SD again soon and will plan a visit.

Zahnster realized how far he is from Escondido.

Zahnster realizes he once drove there in a Geo Metro to get a radio controller car.

Hmm.....

'nuff said.

Also, 'Chick, which twisties in Escondido were you thinking of? Escondido's my hometown. I know there's a nice twisty road going up from San Pasqual towards the Animal Park and towards Ramona, and the back road going up to Valley Center past East Valley Parkway...

So, what is the moderator's job? Is it to warn others of when they are being "bad?" Just so everyone knows, the I'm Bored thread that many of us were having so much fun in was deleted without so much as a post from a moderator. The thread had existed for well over a week without anyone saying something was wrong. Not only was the thread deleted without warning, but many of the participants "magically" lost well over 100 posts from thier post counts at the same time. I request that the "stolen" post counts be returned, and that the moderator do it's job in a friendly and informative manner from now on.

Kevin you do realize that I wasn't the one who deleted that post and that there was a few complaints about it which is why it was deleted. I would have left the post (and did leave the post for a while when it first started as I know other clubs have posts like that in their forums too) depending on if I found anything that was objectionable as to the reason why it should be closed or left open. FYI I am not the only moderator of this forum and if I am not around to deal with the problem there are plenty of others who can act for me. It's not like I get paid to do this job. I do it because I enjoy the I-club and was one of the first to help to creat the SCIC and get our own club/forum started.

My job is to uphold the rules of the i-club and ensure it is the great Subaru resource that it has grown to be and not an rampant flame fest or a dating service (hey you can do that in OT if you want I don't care). The SCIC is to be a regional forum for those members in the Southern Ca. area to have a seperate area to post meets and events and other things of interest in the area without cluttering the rest of the board. Incase you haven't realized I do let alot of stuff slide like the board topic which I didn't know was deleted as you can even look at the reason I posted why I closed on of HotImprezaChicks threads. I didn't know till someone Pm'd me and told me that the thread dissappeared and thier post count dropped.

As far as the post counts sorry not much I can do about it and it is way out of my hands as that post was probably deleted by one of the Imprezidents so your barking up the wrong tree.

What makes you think I would do that ?

Actually, maybe you should reread my post. I didn't bark up any specific tree. I was just screaming in the forest.

Kevin considering I am the moderator of this forum you are barking up the wrong tree by posting it in my forum when it also involved a post in the forum as well. Why didn't you just post this in General for all moderators to look at then?

Let me say this first: I am not picking a fight or flame war of any kind here.

Now, didn't you just say you were not the only moderator of this forum?

Kevin first off I know your not picking a flame war and yes I did say I am not the only moderator of this forum and the reason is that the Imprezidents can moderate all forums as well as give power to other moderators to moderate over posts if the moderator is absent or can not act due to internet access or any other various assortment of reasons. Also there may soon be another "known" moderator of this forum here soon so that if I am not around they can handle the situations that may arise. If you look at some of the other regional forums they have as many as 3 moderators and have no where near the amount of posts we have. I feel as though I have done a good job here and have been fair to everyone and not showed bias or attitude.
I do know there was that situation with you, Kian and Terry which I may have taken as much harsher than it was but it was getting far out of hand when personal threats were involved wether joking or serious.

If anyone feels like I have been doing a poor job feel free to post about it. Heck everyone needs some constructive criticisim.

Also as far as the bored post I still have no idea who exactly deleted it and believe me you can ask Dan as I was shocked as well as he that it was gone and everyone was wondering what happened and their post counts went down so much. I mean I don't like it as it makes me feel as though someone came in to my "house" and decided to take a few things that may not ahve belonged to them with out asking or even telling me what they did.

Have a Nice Day? <sigh>

I love online drama, what is this about anyway? people hookin up on i-club? seriously tho, if you dig cars and looking for people who do to, come to the Von's parking lot in Balboa (SD) on Saturday nights, you'll find plenty. Easily 50+ show cars, it's like a weekly car show. And no the cops don't show up .....
