Saw two while on a Checker Auto run on the night of 3/16. First was a black bugeye WRX with silver aftermarket rims on Bell and about 12th St. The other was a silver GDB at the intersection of 7th st and Greenway heading west.

Hey this is a long shot but have any of you guys seen a red bug eyed wrx with a Bridgestone banner on the rear window driving around the tempe area? Im sorry I cant give more description but we met on the road tonight so it was a little hard to see any details.
Oh and if the guy reads this thread, I was the one in the yellow gti. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it. I would love to know what kind of mods he has done to the car. Thanks! |

I saw a TON WRX's at the KINGPIN Dyno day, at AzDynoChip. I think its the most I've ever seen in one place. Way to many subys and people to list. I'm glad every one made it out, and I hope to see you on the road.

It's past Apache Junction.
You have to take the I-10 to the US60, then go to Idaho Rd. (exit 196, I think, about 20 miles east of I-10) go north to Hwy 88, and take a right... It's 20 or so miles of nice mountain driving. Then, if you're brave, there is about another 20 miles of dirt road to some really nice scenery with lakes and lots of tight roads. It's good a day's trip. Bring plenty of water and a camera. I may start another thread soon with pics of my drives. I try to go some place new every couple of weeks. I did South Mountain a couple weeks ago, and was fun to do to get away from the traffic for a couple of hours. Here is some info I found useful: http://www.arizonabikerinformationgu.../tortilla.html -Brandon |

I pulled up behind a nice looking black Rex yesterday on my way home from work. It was a black WRX, badgeless in the rear, no wing, dyno-comp sticker in the back window. Looked really sweet from what I saw.

I have seen a few Suby's here and there rolling around town in the last few weeks since we moved here. Mostly on the way to PIR for auto-x. Even meet some of you like VSB XT and Bobturismo, among others that we have done business with.
Since this is the spotted thread I thought we could have some fun. For the first person (anyone) that spots our car out on the road in motion (not parked) and posts up here we will give them a free set of fog light protection of their choice. You can get blue, smoked, yellow or clear. When can you say that you get something for free for spotting a car on the road. Good luck and we will be checking to see who spotted us. Chad |
