Default Light the path - post pics of your subie's fog light set up!!

I looked at all the headers and none were towards lighting... so hopefully there are others like me sporting 3 pairs of fog lights... and thinking of another pair below the 4.

Ah! if i go to Princeton or Montgomery area that have the suicidal deer i put them all on. I use the Yellow the most, when it rains or snows. they're pretty bright.

Default Hella Ff

If you plan on getting the 8" Hellas, make sure you DO NOT get the Fog Beams... they suck.... they give a very narrow beam (which is suppose to go under the fog), and the beam isn't bright at all... maybe in a tight forest setting they are ok... they do shine almost 180 degrees, so you can see bambi on the side of the road (eyes reflect the light)... but they were worthless. Pencil beams also suck... unless you have 10 of them... the best Hella (Affordable) light are the 4000FF and the Cornering lamps (which really means - Flood lamp).
I would think PIAA's are better, but way to expensive.

can i play?

hella blackmagics in the center, hella 500's on the outside of the light bar (driving pattern) and PIAA rally pods over the stock fog locations.

honorbale mentions are my buddy's legacy in the background of the 2nd pic with 4 500's on a DIY light bar and my gf's wagon in the 3rd pic with the rally innovation skid guard and a pair of 500's.

09 fxt with a custom removable light bar. 2 center lights are hella 4000 cornering lights, and the outside 2 are some driving lights with a HID kit.

I made a custom switch box so I can turn on the lights in groups. So I have the corning lights come on when I turn on the high beams or just from the main switch.

4000FF driving.

THey are pretty cool lamps, you can interchange parts so you don't have to buy entire new lamps.
the fog lamps costs about $135 a lamp, but i was able to buy the lenses for $56 and make them cornering lamps... then sold the fogs on ebay and someone bought them from Australia!! sort of like legos .

the pencil beams did put out a straight narrow beam, but wouldnt focus on anythng, therefore it was worthless... maybe with a pick up truck and 8 lights on top and 4 in the front, they might do something

NIce, i like it. i'm assuming the lighting should be similar to the 05's... which wires do you tap into to make the fogs go on with the high beams? i've tried and it's not a straight positive/negative set up.

Nice, you guys sponsored by Subaru ... 'the Subaru Family'

is this in Wellsboro, PA?

i like the pods, they look more rally then the ones i have on the front... which make it hard to adjust the lamps. they are from Rally innovations, but they no longer make them i think. i had to contact the manufactor directly and request for some runts, which they happened to have in order to get them. luckily i got the set up right the first time.

I feel like fogs sometimes kill the bugeys look. I know they are functional but I've seen some pretty cool setups that don't cover the whole bumper.

the 4 subarus in the yard was a gathering of friends getting ready to head out to get some pics. that being said, in our driveway sits my 02 wrx, the gf's 02 outback sport wagon, and our 95 Legacy wagon.

the last pic was at a spectator area in wellsboro. the rest are from the williamsport area.
