Default The official Post pics of your Home Audio/Video setup? V2.0

Just post a list of your said equipment.

Post Pics.

Whats it main usage for?

************************************************** ************
Setup wise.

TV = Pannasonic TH-50PZ700U
Speakers =
-- B&W 705 (Mains)
--B&W HTM7 (Center)
-- SLS Audio (Surrounds) Havnt ben able to get the B&W surrounds yet ($$$)
Custom Subwoofer= Elemental Design A2-350 (10" 600w RMS)
Power Conditioner= Panamax M5100 PM
Receiver= Yamaha RX-V1700

Here are some pics of the eD audio website.

Setup is probally
40% gaming
40% movie
20% Music

My room is slowly comming together, I started a thread about a year ago showing pics, will have to update it soon . Few more tweaks to the room and it will be 100% complete. Id say its about 80% right now. I was quoted on the B&W surrounds but didnt have $1600 laying around, also have plans for the money pit right now aka the STi.

Ill be taking some newer updated photos soon.

PS. Let me know if theres already another thread like this, ive found some where people are asking for help and such but none that are just "post your" setup type deal.

Very nice. I like the charcoal/dark grey wall.

Pretty basic setup with an XBOX 360 and a Mac Mini. I don't have TV/cable, I just download what I want to watch. That way I don't end up watching World's Wildest Police Videos at 3:00 in the morning.

The remotes have been replaced with a Harmony 550 which is excellent. The printer is there because I have an apartment and because it's hooked up to my router (which is behind all the DVDs) to be shared with all my computers. They keyboard has moved to permanent desk duty and I use Apple Remote Desktop to control the Mac Mini if I have to.

With the intent to not derail this thread, can you find a lot of Discovery and History channel shows to D/L? If so, I might be able to convince the wife to finally stop paying for cable TV.

I'm sorry, but while the room does look pretty damn nice with that color scheme, I think this is one messy ass setup.

I might not be big on the whole A/V stuff, but I think having everything hidden is the best solution.

It's a bit hard using public trackers. I'm trying to find a HD quality version of When We Left Earth and it's tough. I've gotten a lot though, including Planet Earth.

Could a fellow NASIOCer help with getting in on a good source of downloads? I'd be good about seeding.

HDbits.org is a great source but they turned off invites because people were selling them.

I hear you can get like 1.5mbs (maybe even more), no need for seeding, thus no FBI bust down you're door since you would just be leeching... win-win
