Default Praxis info

Some info you guys might be interested in:

the ride heights are programed and can be changed by the installer/owner . A majority of people actually select a touring height higher than OE for Rally mode and use the Sport mode for the street and the track mode for ...... the track

binding force of the springs on the struts:

OE springs and struts generate 60 lbs. of binding force
Tein Flex Coilovers generates 250 lbs. of binding force
Praxis does not generate any binding force

Alignment numbers:

recommended settings:
front : -1.6 degrees camber / 0.060" toe in
rear: -1.4 degrees camber / 0.040" toe in

when lowered to track mode:
front: -2.3 degrees camber / 0.120" toe out
rear: -1.4 degrees camber / 0.00" toe

typical coilover with 2" drop:
front: -1.9 degrees cammber
rear: -2.7 degrees camber
as you can see the typical coil settings are not appropriate for balanced handling and does induce more understeer

So do these have an in-cabin controller for setting the various modes?
How do you physically change the modes?

I don't understand those alignment settings. Are you saying that if you setup the car with the recommended settings at stock ride height you'll have the second set of setting when you lower the car to track mode? If so those numbers are pretty different from the rear numbers that you posted a while ago.

Check out the new issue of SCC. Have a full writeup.
But the allignment setting change with the ride hight.
And the shocks have to be manually adjusted on the shocks itself.

those alignment settings will also be different if you change it from the default settings for touring, sport, and track.
