Default Next Years Allocations

I'm looking at buying a STI early next year but have heard allocations will end in November and start again in the spring of next year.

Does anyone else know if this is true or if it's my dealership just trying to hustle me into buying now??

if this is true will they be 05's or 04's and when do you think the 05 will be available. It was near 18months for the 03 WRX to follow the 02.

You're not going to get a factual answear on this question but IMHO it's bs. There will be cars delivered every single month.

Just FYI, it have been rumored before but the thread went south with zero factual information and tons of speculation. If you get a reply from SOA please post back here.

Did a dealer tell you allocations will be ending in November and not starting up again untill spring? Your terribly mis-informed, they will get allocations just like every other car sold in the US, every month.

Whatever the case, I'm sure they'll be 04s until around the middle of next year.

well, since there will be no chassis changes between the '04 and '05, I'm pretty sure that the '05's will not be out until late october or so. On the good side, expect the '05's to be ECU bug free.

I've emailed SOA and await there reply. It doesn't change my mind as I am definetly buying in the first part of next year 04 or 05.

It also looks like there will be stock from this year with sales slowing down on the STI.

Yes, pretty sure here the sales of STi are slowing quite a bit..
I hope I can get '05 in May 2004 to enjoy all summer, and not November..
