Default The badest pic on an STI yet

My TE37s look good on my car, but WOW nothing compared to this. This is actually the first car I might buy body kits for. Finally, classy looking body kits for a Suby. I am surprised only three guys are checking this car out.

They look like stockers, but with the chrome frames painted black.

However they are probally aftermarket.

The bigger question, what kit is that and where do I get one?

Did anyone ever come up with the answer than?

It really is a very nice looking kit (from what I can see here), and if I'm ever lucky enough to pick up an STi, this would definately be in the running for future upgrades!

1st car has to loose the rims and the light covers, somthing about them just doesn't flow with the car. IMHO

I agree on the lights. Some nice OEM cleared headlights would finish off the car nicely, not those. I really like the wheels though. The deep dish kind of go with the car. Like most pics of the STI, they probally look 80X better in person anyway.

2nd kit=crap

Who do I send my money to for the kit? Any time you emulate a MkIV, you are on the right track.

That is definitely one of the cleanest front bumper replacements i've seen for a suby and that is saying a lot. That's probably the only one i'd ever consider unless another company has something as clean.

As for the 2nd kit posted, there's way to many holes in the front bumper for my tastes.

1st pic - sweet; obviously not a US model from the driver's position, the front fenders I think are aftermarket, that bumper rocks along with those sideskirts.

I think they could have made the wing a little bigger, don't you guys think? Won't have to worry about it obstructing you're rear view! Just messin'... I think the shopping cart wing and the fenders a little outta place for my style, o well. Other than that, it would look alright.

That looks like one of the pics that I (or maybe it was SSLegacyGT) took at the Hypermeeting 2003 at Tsukuba Circuit.

Those headlights are stockers with cf covers/frames on them. IIRC, those are made by a ASTe as G-Force has posted.

The reason there are so few people around the car is because they saw that we were taking pics.

Just some more interesting info:
ASTe=All Subaru Tune-execute

here are some videos of the red choptop ASTe Impreza showing the interior too. And sorry, but they're only in Japanese.

MAC: http://211.10.2.99/200303/030312_subaru3.mov

Some interesting info provided in the videos.

In the first video, he just explains what ASTe is and the basics about the car like how much wider it is with the flared fenders and things like that.

In the second video, the guy says that the car is made so that physically-disabled people can drive it too. the small ring "behind" the steering wheel is the accelerator/gas pedal and the small knob on the right is the brake. Also, you don't need to use the clutch to shift. They wanted to modify the car so that anyone and everyone could enjoy the new Impreza.

In the third video, he explains that the car has been painted with "Majora" paint, a new paint made by Nippon paint. Majora has some sort of holographic stuff in it, similar to the holographic stuff they use in money. He goes on to explain that this car was actually completed in 2 months.

In the 1st image the lower portion of the car has a look similar to the 944 Porsche with those fenders.

Wow the dish on those wheels in the first pic are deep , I for one would love to see something like those available here for the US spec STi. As for the kit the lines all look so smooth and flow great.

IMHO the Sti in the second picture outright looks gross to much going on for my taste.

These 19"s Work Meister S1 2 Piece will not fit any of our cars unless we have this crazy wide bodykit and custom job. The fitting size on GDA WRX is 18x7.5 with 42 offset.

I prefer these

wgknestrick,

What size and offset are your TE37 on your STi? Can you please post a pic of your car with the TE37?

Thanks ahead, I want some 18s for my STi and can't decide on which one.
