Default Another place to meet

I've only been using this site for a few months, and it was my favorite, by far. The name of this site implies that it is for Impreza owners. If this is true, then why are the moderators so opposed to what we'd like to see on the site. I've enjoyed being able to go directly to STi posts without having to search through other irrelevant posts.

I'm frankly surprised by the rude attitude of the moderators. It seems they'd listen to the people who visit the site, and if a majority of Impreza owners would like to see a particular change, they'd make it, if it wasn't too difficult. The comments I've seen from the moderators lead me to believe they're either on a power trip, or they're envious of the STi owners. That may sound silly, but they seem somewhat childish to me.

Perhaps STi owners can start posting on the Imprezawrxsti.com site. As they say "All STi, all the time." At least they seem to care about STi owners, and it certainly makes searching for relevant posts easy.

If this is what this site is all about, good riddance.

See you someplace other than here.

Definitely a thread that will get shut down. Last to post is a rotten egg.

Oh, and as for the subject, it sounds like a plan (except I will always still visit this site because of its resourcefulness)...lets see what others think before the moderators come crashing down on this thread.

I'm sure somewhere, someone cares.

I don't see either side of the argument being particularly strong. On one hand, a bunch of n00bs who want thier own forum. On the other, a bunch of mods and old skoolers who act like the mere thought of that offendeds them to no end. And then there is the other 30,000 members who dont really care one way or another.

My only stance in this is that the multiple posts about "wahhh, i want a STi forum" are gettin real old. Get over it, its not happening.

I don't think the thread will be locked.
Anyway, been there, done that... Remember the owner has an STi, but he also owns this source of fellowship for Subies.
Some folks say: "Change is good." Without change things become stagnant. A newer model Subie is about to be introduced in Legacy form, which will no doubt take this position for discussion.
I think this is the most informative board for Subies that exist.
Don't be hurtin'.

So we will just have to sort through all of the other posts, until we find the ones pertaining to STi's. As simple solution would be this:

When ever you start a thread and it is only regarding the STi, in the title of the thread always start off first with STi:

example:

"STi: Need help with Brembo brake pad change"

It seems to me forum organization was never any forum owners/moderators strong points... I don't understand why they'd want you to wade through more noise as it is.

evolutionm.net has specific forums for the EVO, why would they lump all the STi stuff in with the WRX noise?

But then, having a 1000 moderators I never understood either.

Simple. It is modled after the top-heavy, bureaucratic American corperations which we all LOVE to work for.

I have a better idea! Lets just go somewhere else where 1) it's
all about the STi; 2) people don't have to follow a code of
posting to even get their posts read; 3) I don't have to troll
through a bunch of useless irrelevant crap to find STi posts; and
4) there aren't a bunch of people with their head up their ***.

www.imprezawrxsti.com ALL STi -- ALL the time.

Can you believe I got a FLAMING warning for my last post about
setting up an STi forum ? I'll write a $1,000 check to anyone that
can tell me what about my post was exactly "flaming". I
guess that's what you get though when some people have a bad
case of penis-envy, though.....

ok noob

here is why
i could steel your sti strip it and put 90% of the parts on my 93 L and they would fit because they are really all the same car..

STI IS A TRIM LEVEL FOR A PARTS BIN COMAPNY

to segregate your self, while nice for us, won't help you at all

How is a post related to an Impreza irrelevant to you? News flash- you own an Impreza .
