STi specific forum info....
Hey guys!
ok moderators, I'm getting sick of this too. It's not whining- it's just us relaying the facts. You call it whining because you don't like hearing it, and because you don't like that we are right. Get it through your heads: a WRX is NOT an STi. They are different cars. They are barely related. It's not elitism, it's a fact. We just do NOT want to troll through pages of un-relevant stuff to get to STi-relevant stuff. Oh- and please stop calling us "noobs" just because we joined recently. Last time I checked the STi has only been available on this side of the pond for a few months. Moderators, when did you order your STi's ? Not everyone of us rushed out to buy a lethargic 165HP wanna-be WRX 5 years ago. WRX owners may be interested in reading about the STi or keeping up on the tech end of things -great- come to the STi forum and read away. STi owners may want to read about the WRX - same thing applies in reverse. The only form of 'discrimination' of any kind going on here is from the 'moderator' who makes the decisions about forums. If he owned an STi you'd bet this would have been done right a long time ago. Having a specific MY'04 forum is just plain stupid. Other than cosmetics, an '04 WRX is the same as an '02 one. Why force those owners to visit TWO forums about their cars ? It's idiotic and a waste of their time. For those STi owners sick of all thie BS go check out: www.imprezawrxsti.com It's a better BB anyways: 1) their moderators actually OWN STi's, 2) they are INCREDIBLY helpful over there, 3) there is more content there that is of value to an aclimitized STi owner. Their motto says it all "ALL STi, ALL THE TIME" If this club won't adapt to fill the needs of it's "members", we can simply go elsewhere. Why do I need or want to know anything about a Baja, Legacy, RS, or WRX anyways? I drive an STi. -Sporty

You are an idiot.
#1. A STi is a WRX, get over it, thats the way it is. Look it up, you will find that it is technically a Subaru Impreza WRX STi, STi is just a trim line. #2. This is the kind of rediculous arrogance we dont want. Ohh..your car is sooo much better becise you have 300 hp and I only have 165. That must mean you are better then me. #3. How old are you? From you post I would say about 16-17. Did you buy your car yourself? Probably not, Daddy bought it for you. #4. Go to your other board, if this is your attitude, we dont want you here any how. And finally, IBTL. |

why a MY04+ forum instead of STi specific ? That isn't much of a "compromise".... | SportyBry | STi Forum Archive | 12 | 09-14-2003 08:35 PM |
