Default Now a p1571 immo issue

So after engine build and car sitting for 6mos or so I am getting a p1571, immo code issue. I have a spare ecu I cloned and it also is showing p1571, I even pulled the immo chip of one of the ecu and verified the file and replaced it. No dice. I知 thinking I will need a trip to dealer to try and reprogram for the keys.

I guess I値l flash a stock rom in and just change the injector settings so they might not be freaked out by the merp modded ecu. Thousands into tos engine and I would love to get past this

I have tried both ecu, both keys, checked both immo chips. It must be something other than the ecu or keys. Guess I値l make an appointment, I hate paying the dealer

05-08 forester xt learning code 3178

Also, p1571 looks like bad code in ecu or biu. Since I have 2 ecu, I imagine it痴 in the body unit.

I bought a ssm3/vxdiag and fixed it doing a relearn, didn稚 even have to do the relearn, it woke it up when I connected to it. I think it was from battery being out for 3mos

Where did you get it and which did you get? Was thinking about VXdiag for some ABS check/reset but feels a little dirty. Any recommendation of something that worked well is better than rando.

I've made attempts to resolve the issue by testing both ECUs and using both keys, even verifying the immobilizer chips. It appears that the problem lies elsewhere, possibly unrelated to the ECUs or keys. As a next step, it might be best to schedule an appointment for professional assistance, even though I understand your reluctance to pay dealership fees. Sometimes, getting the expertise of a qualified technician is the most efficient way to diagnose and address complex vehicle issues. They can help pinpoint the problem and potentially offer a more cost-effective solution of Questcraft Mods, Pojavlauncher
