Bam. I've been looking all over for these! They look to be either the same or very similar to the method wheels used on subaru rally team usa's stage rally car and rallycross car. Good find man!!

"The 501 comes in at 16.9 lbs with a stout 1,900lb load rating. The 15x7 VT-Spec will clear Subaru WRX 4-pot and AP Racing CP6720 calipers. With a +41mm offset, 5x100 and 5x114.3 bolt patterns, fitment is ideal for Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles."

I think thats just for the VT SPECS(which i think is only in 15'') so id imagine each wheel in a 17''-18'' is slightly more in weight than that.

Fozze great info thanks! I'm not too knowledgeable in wheel fitment such as offset and I was wondering if that offset would work with most stock subaru suspension set up. I have an 05 WRX so if you could offer anymore info that would be really great thanks!

Either way until these wheels are officially for sale its really impossible to know exactly which sizes they will be made in and whether or not they will fit everyone's car. So until then everyone sit tight. Before that day comes Sean do check out some of the stickies in this section of the forum regarding wheel fitment. Its a really good read and it should help with your concerns when these babies come out.

Rally cars can fly... note the back tire SHREDDING...!

Apparently the wheel (Method ... ) went 14 miles with no tire... and sort of survived.

^ Exactly! Im a huge fan of there simple spoke design but all the little detailed sections as well. I'd imagine Method specializing in off road truck applications translated well to rally racing...also known as off roading...fast off roading Cant wait to see these on everyone's cars.

I believe they haven't been produced yet. This was probably just a place holder page until they are sometime during this winter starting the 21st of this month and March 19th.

FYI: I ordered a set of the 5x100 MR501 VT Specs and they are arriving tomorrow from California, less than a week from my initial order. Going on a 04 WRX rally car.

Not going to get myself in trouble trying to sell anything but I'm a Method employee. Here's some info for anyone interested.

15x7 gravel MR501 VT-Spec and MR-502 VT-Spec are in stock.

Street sizes of MR501 and MR502 are arriving this week and next.

MR501 will be 17x8 and 18x8 with a ET42 offset.

MR502 will be 17x8 and 18x8 with ET38 offset.

All information is on the website.

I'm going to preface my answer with the following before everybody jumps in with their opinion. These wheels are not intended to be lightweight track day wheels they are designed to be out on dirt and sustain most abuse that would be encountered on an average rally stage.

The 17 and 18 inch wheels have a 1850lb load rating, about 15-25% higher than the average wheel people are using.

MR501 in 17x8 weighs 23.5lbs, 18x8 weighs 24.5lbs
MR502 in 17x8 weighs 24.3lbs, 18x8 weighs 25 lbs

MR501 VT-Spec 15x7, 1900lb load rating, weighs 16.9lbs
MR502 VT-Spec 15x7, 2100lb load rating, weighs 19.4lbs
