Sorry to hear.
If you have to leave it for an extended period again, get some stuff at the supermarket called Damprid and put it in the car, that will keep the moisture at bay is there is a problem.

lol... ope nthe windows, and let it air out, mold should be able to be cleaned up with the psray shampoos they sell at walkmart, and a vacuum. just make sure it gets air dryed, as it's the slight bit of humidity that's creating the mold.

Exeter Subaru charged me $20 to cut a key from a VIN for my 04 WRX. The key itself says Ilco not Subaru.

If the 2005 WRX has the electronic key be prepared for a tow and about $100-$150 for programming/key. Use ebay for a replacement transmitter.

My wife lost a set of keys and remotes to both 04 WRX and 2005 LGT.

If you did not disconnect a battery terminal before leaving it, deem it junk and go out and buy a new one.

a new key shouldnt be too expensive as long as it doesn't need programming. If you need a new key fob though, thats about $100 dollars or so with the programming.

fobs are cheap on ebay and can be easily programmed by the owner of the car
