Default If you ever lend your car to a friend...

...put this in it first.

This small GPS gadget can easily be placed in a car, boat, land speeder, or just about any moving object and will record its own time, date, location, speed, direction and altitude. The recorded information can then be downloaded to your computer through the USB port and optionally integrated with Google Earth or Mapquest. This feature allows you to "playback" the location points of the TrackStick and see a visual mapped history of its travels.
Also works if you don't trust your wife, GF, BF etc...

Or just have friends you don't feel the need to check up on if they ask something entirely normal and reasonable like a favour. Such as borrowing your car. Do you record every conversation you have and keep them logged in a tape-bank too?

Weirdo.

I trust my friends with my cars.

Although to be honest, I have no problems with my friends joyriding or thrashing the crap out of it. As long the car comes back to me in the same condition I lent it to them.
