Great build, I was reading through your rwd conversion and was going to ask if you ever make it out to pats acres and when I saw pics of the first gen legacy I realised I saw you at PARC fest over labor day weekend, car was looking great. I was driving the red Impreza all I've done so far is convert it to rwd and swap in a 4.44 rear diff. I wanted to ask what the welded diff is like on the road, I think that will help my car alot but not sure how bad it will be if I still drive it on the steet. It's not my daily so but not sure if I want to make it a track only car yet.

i personally don't think driving around with a welded diff is bad at all. i have also been doing it for the past 10 years or so though lol. your tires will chirp when you do tight turn in parking lots and whatnot, but when you are actually driving it doesn't feel any different than an open diff, you just have to remember to take it easy around corners when its wet out |
