Default How to reconfigure Clifford Matrix 2 Alarm?

I got a Clifford Matrix RS2 alarm, and would like to change the setting so that it will automatically lock the doors when I start the car. Do I have to go to an authorized installer to have that done? or is there some secret code with the vallet button (like Avital) to change the configuration?

I searched but came out empty. So any input will be appreciated...

I always recommend you take it to a dealer. They have a bit writer and can do it electronically in a few minutes . I am sure someone here can tell you the manual procedure. I don't have a install manual or else I would. But be aware that if you get it wrong you could end up with unwanted changes and even more problems then when you started. But just my opinion.. You might also ask in your regional forum if someone has a bit writer..

Thanks for the advice. I just called my local store and they want $40 to do it. So I guess I'll just live with the way it is now.

if the alarm installer didn't lock your alarm's programming feature then you should be able to enable ignition controlled door locks:

To enter Systems Features Learn Routine:
1) Open driver door or any door
2) Turn ignition ON and OFF
3) Press and Hold the Valet button ONCE for Basic Features
4) After 3 seconds of Holding the Valet button you will hear 1 Chirp to indicate you are in Basic Features Menu
5) Release the Valet button
6) To access Ignition Controlled Door Locks press and release the Valet button 3 times and press the Valet button 1 more time and hold it down
7) The siren will chirp 3 times to let you know which Basic Feature you've selected
8) While holding down the Valet button, press the Lock/Unlock button on your keyfob to enable Ignition Controlled Door Locks
9) Release the Valet button and either close the door or then the Ignition to ON to exit Learning Routine.

If you try to enter the Learning Routine function and hear a long chirp, your alarm has been locked via the BitWriter and will require someone with this device to program your alarm.

I just tried out in the parking lot. It worked like a charm.

Thanks a bunch! You rock!

Is there any way I can get a whole list of programming code? Mainly I would like to control the passive/active locking and siren sensitivity/volume.

Thanks again!

who's your daddy now? j/k see if the installer left the owners/installer guides with your alarm. other than that, i can email you the install docs anyway.

:imnotworthy:

Yeah, I only got the generic manual which only lists the features, but not how to set them.

It would be super if you can email me the doc to [email protected].

Thanks!
