Wrapping Stock Exhaust Manifold?
Hey, so a while back my exhaust manifold heat shield fell off and I noticed that my timing cover is starting to melt. I got some exhaust wrap but am wondering if it'll work on the stock manifold/headers.

It will work, but will increase the corrosion rate. But then your melting your timing cover....
Make sure its manifold temp rated wrap, notnsure what exhaust wrap is but check that before you light your car on fire lol. |

Man i wrote, that, hit send, and then said wait a minute. Wtf is exhaust wrap ahaha.
My mind read "header wrap". So I hit edit real quick and was like make sure its ehaust MANIFOLD or header wrap!! Yeah that dei is good stuff. |

I would just find an OEM heat shield to replace yours. It'll do a better job and last longer than any header wrap has a hope of.
